Read, read and read. Read regularly fiction and non fiction books, watch English shows or movies ( without subtitles). Then, practice writing summaries of the books or movies.
For the reading section, students need to be familiar with the different types of questions and learn the different methods of answering them.
Students will listen to conversations and lectures and answer questions about them. The key to doing well in listening is being able to understand what is said, efficient note taking and time management.
There are 2 types of speaking questions-independent and integrated. For independent, Students must make sure they answer the questions and have reasons and examples to support their opinions. For the integrated, some questions require students to give opinions and others don’t. It is important to listen to and read the question carefully.
First of all, it is very important to prepare for the TOEFL iBT test even if you have high SAT or ACT reading scores. The format involves not only reading and essay, but also speaking and listening. Moreover, students need to get comfortable with reading passages and writing on the computer.
