GMAT

The GMAT is required by students applying to business schools, especially for the MBA program. The test is taken on the computer and takes about 3 hours and 30 min to complete. There are 3 parts to the test:

1) Analytical Writing

Students are required to write 2 essays: one requires students to take a position and develop arguments to support that point of view. The other requires student to analyze and critique an argument.

2) Quantitative

There are 2 types of questions: Problem solving and Data Sufficiency.

3) Verbal

Question types involve Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction and Critical Reasoning

The GMAT is a Computer Adaptive Test. The questions get harder if you keep getting questions right, but if you keep getting questions wrong, the test will get easier.
